Diamond math group had to justify that changing around the factors in a multiplication problem didn't affect the product. Is 6x7 the same as 7x6? We used 'cars' and 'garages' to figure it out.

SOLO

This term we are looking at Hauora. We decided that healthy eating was an essential part to overall well being.
We had to organize certain foods together using interlocking hexagonal tiles and then justify why we had chosen certain groupings.

Alphabetical Order

We had fun today putting names of animals into alphabetical order. We were having trouble with the concept at first until we decided to make it a game. B2 enjoyed jostling and repositioning themselves in the correct order.
